This program is designed for clients who may not have the capital to purchase a shelf corporation themselves. It is designed to give our clients the capital they need to grow their business or capitalize on an investment while releasing a small portion of equity in their company.
Aegean Capital Partners invests in early-stage companies and investment philosophies. The majority of our portfolio is in small business innovation, real estate and stock equity and Forex investments.
Our investments range in size from as little as $100,000 to as much as $10,000,000. We invest for the long haul, not 'quick flips,' and look for entrepreneurs with a similar perspective.
We develop close working relationships with entrepreneurs and investors and become their primary investment partner to help them reach their capital goals. Our emphasis on teamwork and providing quality service are big reasons why top entrepreneurs and investors turn to Aegean for help.
Strategy
We meet with the entrepreneurs, attempting to identify key traits that have been associated with entrepreneurial success in the past, such as high energy, a must-win attitude, unusual creativity, high personal integrity, relevant experience, strong work ethic and an ability to prioritize and focus. Aegean Capital’s evaluation of an opportunity is based on our experience, and our understanding of such entrepreneurs. We have developed the following preferences:
* An entrepreneur who is extremely motivated and dedicated to make a success of his company or investment. They must also be well-qualified to take on the challenge and work well together as a team.
* A product or service which possesses some differentiating feature that can lead to the creation of a profitable company. We have a distinct bias toward business models with high gross margins.
* An entrepreneur who can defend its position in its market once established. Aegean Capital’s objective is to be an active investor and to add value to its investments whenever possible. As appropriate, Aegean Capital will provide advice on issues such as strategy, organization and recruiting, and raising capital.
* An entrepreneur who is extremely motivated to do whatever it takes to make a success of his company or investment. They must also be well-qualified to take on the challenge and work well together as a team.
* An investor with a unique view of the domestic and world markets. Strong expertise and a history of achievable returns are favorable. We look for investments that are dedicated to achieving consistently high return with limited risk. Our clients usually invest using the following strategies:

Aegean Capital has created a set of guidelines we use to evaluate an investment opportunity. To determine whether an investment fits within these guidelines, you are encouraged to review an open a conversation with one of Aegean’s investment professionals. When possible, you should contact us through a personal referral.
The due diligence process will generally take from 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the size of our investment, but can be shortened if necessary. When Aegean decides to invest, we will then work with the entrepreneur or investors to tailor investment terms specific to the transaction. In addition, we have extensive relationships throughout the venture industry and can provide, where appropriate, assistance in assembling an investment syndicate of highly capable investors.
